This lab combines almost all CCNP related OSPF features, excluding detailed redistribution to/from other dynamic routing protocols and operations over Frame Relay. The lab design is as following:
To not overwhelm the picture, the features per area:
Area 0 (Backbone):
- Authentication with clear text + override per interface;
- Default information originate.
Area 1 (Regular area):
- Authentication md5;
- Route summarization (LSA3 filtering on ABR);
- Route filtering (LSA3 filtering on ABR);
- Virtual Link to area 10 with md5 authentication;
- RIP redistribution with summarization on ASBR.
Area 2 (Regular area):
- Route filtering (LSA3 filtering on ABR).
Area 4 (Totally stub):
- Adjusted cost for default route.
Area 5 (NSSA):
- Added default information originate.
Area 10 (Regular area without direct link to the backbone):
- Virtual link to area 0.
